The Indus Academy since its initial inception in 1989, has organically grown into the impressive institution that you see today by focusing on just one single minded objective \u2013 the holistic education of its students from both an educational and social perspective. The aim is to develop self-confidentent, educated and cultured young men and women who strive to succeed in life and make the world a better place. The emphasis of the education imparted in the Indus Academy is to develop the educational and social skills that are in desperate need in an increasingly competitive and challenging world. The institution remains committed to nurturing intellectual curiosity, moral integrity, and a passion for lifelong learning.<\/p>\n

We started as a small home-housed Montessori school in 1989 called The Playschool. We loved and nurtured the tiny people who came in with tears in their eyes, and we made sure that they left with smiles. We soon had over a hundred students. At which point we felt confident about widening our little world beyond the Montessori stage. Our decision to grow the school has been validated by the success of the Indus Academy.<\/p>\n

In 2004, we achieved British Council accreditation to offer O\u2019Levels according to the British National Curriculum. Our foundational principle is trust. We trusted in our ability to steer the Montessori school into a place of excellence for higher learning.
